2019_Nitric oxide improves the effect of 1-methylcyclopropene extending the tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum L.) fruit postharvest life

HIghlights: *GSNO+1-MCP combined treatment delays tomato fruit softening. *GSNO+1-MCP combined treatment reduces the ethylene synthesis 5 d after harvest. *1-MCP and GSNO+1-MCP treated fruit rise the organic acids content during tomato postharvest. *1-MCP and GSNO+1-MCP treated fruit enhances CAT and SOD activities 5 d after harvest.
